Montevideo reminded us on Cuba although we’ve never been to Cuba. It was the relaxed vibe, the old cars and buildings which fit to the cliche of Cuba we know from TV.

 

 

This guy is carrying his mate set, this is the advanced style. Usually the bottle goes under the arm which holds the mate cup.

This is not the beach of the atlantic ocean, it is still the Rio De La Plata.

 

 

The beach promenade is long, we didn’t even make it by bike that day.

View from our balcony. They said Montevideo is quiet and relaxed. It was but not on the street where we stayed. This was typical metropolitan south american style.
